19TH DECEMBE

SHEUNG PING TU TONG. At about 14.00 hours the

Railway was attacked by 2 enemy planes. 6 bombs were

dropped between Km. 98/17 and 98/18, damaging ☎ pairs

of rail and 20 sleepers. Engine A.8 and No. 8 Through

9low Up was also damaged by splinters.

Repairs to track were immediately carried out.

20th DECEMBER.

CHEUNG MUK TOU - LUM TSUN. Between 8.45 and 10. 10

hours 6 enemy planes attacked the Railway, dropping 16

bombs, 5 between Km. 102/16 and Km. 103/1 but without

damage to the track, and 13 behind Cheung Muk Tou

station fencing slightly damaging the station office.

Telegraph wire were interrupted.
